Disney's Mulan: Mushu's Breakfast Congee

Β¬ Ingredients

1 cup of rice
small piece of ginger
slice of bacon
2 eggs
sesame oil
soy sauce

Β¬ Instructions

  1. Let's start by peeling the ginger. Then slice it.
  2. Add 3 cups of water and 1 cup of rice into a pot. Add also the ginger. Put it on the stove and bring it to boil. When it boils, lower the heat and let it simmer for 1 hour. Stir well from time to time to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom. If you see that the mixture is drying out too much, you can add more water.
  3. Add some oil to a pan and heat it. Then fry 2 eggs.
  4. Then cook the bacon trying to make a smile.
  5. When the congee is cooked, add the sesame oil and the soy sauce. Mix well.
  6. Now let’s place it in a bowl and add the toppings to form a smiley face. First the congee, then the egg eyes, and finally the bacon smile.
